She was not happy with the performance she gave in the film Children of the Corn V Fields of Terror. Her acting abilities were honed through her appearance in low budget film productions. The perseverance and determination proved fruitful. Her acting career took off after she received not only praise but also appreciation for her part in Training Day. A few of her most well-known films include 2 Fast and Furious, Ghost Rider Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans and Holy Motors.
